Over the years, we have been fortunate to receive grant support from various institutions. From 2010 to 2013 the fellowship was grant supported by ICICI Foundation; who helped us establish ourselves as the pioneers of the fellowship space in India. From 2015 onward, the Tata Trust came forward as part of their strategy for young professionals to strengthen, build and create human resources for the developmental sector. Currently, from 2019, the CSR of InfoEdge India Ltd. is grant supporting us.
In 2018, a group of India Fellows, supported by Paul Hamlyn Foundation, started working on a direct action intervention in Bundelkhand. Beginning with Panna district of Madhya Pradesh, where the issues range from migration to conservation, our team is first getting familiar with the ecosystem and using processes like Human Centered Design, to come up with an action plan for the next 3 years. The Foundation is keen on creating opportunities for people and communities in the region.
For marketing and promotion of India Fellow to get the fellows we desire, we have collaborated with Mumbai based media house The Media Ant. It is India's largest online marketing service provider had has more than 2 lakh advertising options. Internshala - India's leading internship and training platform with 40000+ paid internships also has been really helpful in spreading the word about the fellowship amongst the youth who are hooked on their platform!
Located in Udaipur, Vidya Bhawan provides quality education to children and youth from all sections of society. At India Fellow, the induction is conducted in their campus. Indian Social Institute hosts the fellows during their midpoint, in Delhi. It is a Jesuit centre for research, training, and action for socio-economic development and human rights. Sanskriti Kendra is located in an idyllic natural environment with sprawling lawns, towering trees, flowering shrubs, lotus-ponds in south Delhi. We conduct our endpoint here.
